I have put in, with the help of the spousal unit of course, three raised beds and the beginnings of a strawberry patch. We have also patch some bare grass spots, if you who have dogs know what I'm talking about! We are seeing small tufts of grass beginning to seed. I spend a lot of time outside shooing away birds who are feasting on it as well as my dogs who like to roll in it. I wouldn't be surprised to see grass growing out of their butts sometime soon...ha!
My tomato, pepper, and eggplant seedlings are starting to look like real plants! I also have red and green cabbage, herbs and even one Broccoli Raab seedling that is struggling. I am starting to harden them off with outside in the sun and a warm Spring breeze. They seem content out there.

I have learned that for next year, I am hoping to have a better seed start set up. They are doing well here in my south facing window, but I think it can be better with more light. (Note to self)
I have to confess, I will have to learn to make good use of the space I have, because if this mass of veggies lives? I'll have stuff growing everywhere! We have spent every weekend hauling stones, shoveling, digging, amending soil and soliciting guidance from the Greek Goddess Antheia (Goddess of Gardens, flowers, swamps and marshes), I think she is smiling on me. This is my project so far, there is so much work to be done in the next two weeks. I suppose I should get out there.
